2020 was a doozy of a year. Nothing about it was business as usual and I suspect 2021 will not be either.

Typically, at this time of year, people turn their attention to setting goals or resolutions. But that is business as usual. We need a new approach.

What if this year, you thought less about what you want to DO next year and more about how you want to FEEL? What if you focused on how you want to BE in 2021?

An invitation to imagine a new way of being.

“We’re not setting goals. We’re envisioning a new way of being. Letting go of the hustle mindset. Releasing expectations of normal. Embracing that less is often more. Making room for emotions to be honored without judgment. Finding ways to cultivate joy and hope. Desire and longing. To notice where these are calling us forward and responding to the call. Letting our intuition be our guide and not the expectations of others. Chasing liberation and a life lived (and loved) on our own terms.” Makeda Pennycooke

This workbook is a guided exploration to help you REMEMBER, RELEASE and REKINDLE.

We begin with REMEMBERING.

Remembering what was lost AND what was gained.

I remembered that, and remembering that, I remembered everything.” Neil Gaiman

We then RELEASE what no longer serves, to make space for what we truly desire.

“Notice how the trees do not cling to their leaves. The Fall is about releasing the old to make way for the new.” Unknown

Finally, we seek to REKINDLE the spark that makes us feel alive.

“Expect to have hope rekindled. Expect your prayers to be answered in wondrous ways. The dry seasons in life do not last. The spring rains will come again.” Sarah Ban Breathnach

The workbook also includes:

A section to acknowledge your gratitude
A simple guided practice for releasing the old
Instructions for creating a vision board (if you want to make one this year)
Plus additional resources

“While 2020 has held me pretty deep within my own head, the Visioning Guide helped me focus on many aspects of the year I hadn’t given proper consideration.  I actually smiled as I wrote about some of the joyful and playful moments of the year. I, too, realize I have a lot of work to do in order to move forward and start the new year – whatever it may bring! This guide is thorough and thoughtful and I am grateful to have it! ” V.A.
