Confidence Builder

A 3-part summer series for building authentic confidence

There’s a difference between confidence and arrogance. One is rooted in the truth of who you are, the other in who you think you should be.

In this 3-part summer series, we’re going to breakdown confidence and look at what it takes to build confidence from the inside out.

We’ll examine the three (3) things required for real confidence: Knowing Yourself, Liking Yourself, and Forgiving Yourself. Over the course of the summer, we’ll examine each of these in deep detail.

Session dates are June 30, July 28, and August 18, 2021. Come to one or all of them. Whatever works for you or resonates with you the most.

3 sessions, 3 pricing tiers* per session. You choose what price works for you. Discount available if you want to do all 3 at any price point (scroll down for details). And, YES, you really can pick whatever amount is right for you.

Know Justice, Know Peace

Part 1: Know Yourself – June 30, 2021 4:00-5:30 PM ET

Do you truly know yourself? Or do you only know the version you think you’re meant to put out into the world? We’ll begin the series by look at what confidence is and what it is not. The role of fear and guilt/shame in undermining our confidence. And, most importantly, we’ll discuss two important components of knowing yourself.

Part 2: Like Yourself – July 28, 2021 4:00-5:30 PM ET

We talk a lot about self-love and the need to love ourselves. I agree that self-love is important. AND I believe liking ourselves is equally as important. As anyone who’s loved anyone knows, it’s possible to love someone and not like them. In the same way, I believe it’s possible to love yourself without actually liking yourself. In this session, we’ll look at 3 things I believe get in the way of liking yourself – perfectionism, comparison, and misunderstanding failure.

Part 3: Forgive Yourself – August 18, 2021 4:00-5:30 PM ET

In this final session, we’ll look at why forgiveness is a critical part of confidence. You’ll learn a forgiveness practice that invites you to release old judgments and welcome in more kindness and grace for yourself. We’ll also look at how to deal with imposter syndrome, an all-too-common robber of true confidence.

Each session includes:

  • A 90-minute virtual call with me via Zoom (4:00 – 5:30pm ET)
  • A combination of teaching and personal reflection to help you integrate the material
  • Practical tips to strengthen each component of your confidence
  • Plus, Q&A and a chance to receive coaching from me

You’ll also receive additional resources, including prompts and readings, after each session to help you go deeper with the work.

3 sessions, 3 pricing tiers per session. You choose what price works for you. Discount available if you want to do all 3 at any price point.

Choose whichever session(s) speak to you the most. I look forward to spending the summer supporting you in growing your confidence.

About the film:

When a beloved barber is murdered by police, his sister takes justice into her own hands, uniting her southern community to fight police brutality and bring real change. This heart-stirring narrative offers something different: it focuses on what it will take to bring down systemic racism and create actual happy endings for people of color.
